Bookkeeper

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Process Bi-Weekly payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal tax requirements (if applicable)

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.

  • Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.

  • Prepare basic financial reports for management review and approval.

  • Support year-end close and work with external accountants as needed.

  • Ensure timely filing of required tax forms and business renewals.

  • Ensure all subcontractors have adequate and current liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance.

  • Monitor Cash Flow

Temporary to Full Time Hire

Wage:

$23-30/hr

Requirements

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in construction office setting

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • Accounting Degree Preferred but not required

  • Prescreening Background Check and Drug Test upon hire
