Bookkeeper
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process Bi-Weekly payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal tax requirements (if applicable)
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
Prepare basic financial reports for management review and approval.
Support year-end close and work with external accountants as needed.
Ensure timely filing of required tax forms and business renewals.
Ensure all subcontractors have adequate and current liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance.

Requirements
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in construction office setting
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Accounting Degree Preferred but not required
Prescreening Background Check and Drug Test upon hire
