Appliance Repair Technician

We are seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain major household appliances in customer homes and/or service facilities. Candidates are preferred to have strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of appliance systems. If not, then mechanical aptitude or experience in other mechanical fields.
Diagnose and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, and dishwashers
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Replace defective components including motors, compressors, thermostats, control boards, and wiring
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals

Temporary Appliance Delivery & Installation Associate
Category:
We are seeking (2) dependable temporary workers to assist with appliance deliveries, in-Unit installations, and haul-away services. This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, stair navigation, unpacking, installation assistance, and disposal of packaging materials.
Load, secure, and transport appliances to Individual units/homes
Carry and maneuver appliances up and down stairs and through tight spaces
Unpack appliances and inspect for visible damage
Assist with installation of washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, Microwaves and other major household appliances
Disconnect and haul away old appliances (potentially but probably not this project)
Remove and properly discard packaging materials and debris
Ensure appliances are positioned correctly and job site is clean upon completion
Provide professional customer service at all times

Assist in the setup, operation, and tear down of drilling machine.
Manually handle heavy drill rods multiple times.
Observes operation to detect binding or stoppage of drill.

Lubricates and cleans equipment.
Keep electric cables and water hoses clear of machine treads or tires.
Observes ground surface and machine operation for indications of unsafe conditions.
Collects ore samples for laboratory analysis.
Observes type of earth formation penetrated to determine need for lowering casing into holes to seal off water and prevent cave in of soft formations.
Records depths from which core samples are taken or depths at which piers are driven.
