Certified Flaggers
Direct traffic safely through active work zones using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
Set up, maintain, and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) per the traffic control plan
Communicate clearly with crew members, TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor), and motorists
Stay alert and maintain a safe working environment for the crew and the public
Follow all MUTCD and CDOT traffic control standards
Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues to your supervisor immediately

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Current flagging certification preferred (ATSSA or CDOT) — will train the right candidate if not yet certified
Reliable transportation to job sites in the Durango area
Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to work day or night shifts as scheduled
