Shop Hand

  • Operate and maintain shop hydraulic tools like floor jacks, shop presses, and fluid lifters.

  • Cut, clean, and crimp hydraulic hoses and fit replacement lines.

  • Disassemble worn assemblies, clean greasy parts, and prep components for rebuilds.

  • Communicate with Yard/Shop Manager as to yard needs.

  • Maintain, clean, pressure wash, paint, and repair all company equipment.

  • Load/Unload trailers with necessary equipment and supplies.

  • Installs, repairs, removes and maintains various company tools and equipment

  • Accurately inspects all iron and equipment for defects, washed out parts, etc.

  • Maintain a clean shop and yard to include, but not limited to sweeping, picking up trash, power washing pad, etc.

  • Observes safe working practices, safety rules, and regulations 

  • Communicate effectively with employees, the client representative and/or other third party service companies.

  • Wears appropriate PPE as required.

  • Comply with Attendance Standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Wage:

$20-25/hr

Requirements

  • A minimum of three to four years of prior construction experience is required, with an emphasis on hydraulics or proven mechanical proficiency 

  • Prior experience in Welding is a plus

  •  Pre-Screening Background Check and Drug Test
